$1 MILLION DEFENSE VERDICT – Represented an uninsured boat owner in a civil action filed by a seriously injured plaintiff seeking damages in excess of $1million dollars. Although the jury came back and awarded an amount over $1 million dollars to the plaintiff against a co-defendant, it found client/boat owner not liable or responsible for any part of the damages.

WHITE COLLAR CRIME AQUITTAL – After a two month long Federal Jury Trial, Client, accused by the Government of the United States of America of conspiring to commit mortgage fraud, and was acquitted of all charges. Combining the focus of a consistent theme, trial experience of determining the relevant issues, and skillful use of technology and visual presentation in the courtroom over the course of two months resulted in a finding of “Not Guilty” for a client who had years of freedom at issue.

DECLARATORY JUDGMENT ACTION - Victorious in a jury trial to determine the applicability of an insurance policy issued by Cotton States Insurance Company to a family member living out of state while at college. The Company was ultimately forced to provide coverage benefits relating to a claim asserted under such policy by client who was severely injured as a passenger in an automobile accident.

TEMPORARAY RESTRAINING ORDER – Successfully represented client, a newly formed start-up company, defending against lawsuit filed by its former Company/Employer that attempted to defeat and eliminate future competition. The new company has gone on to survive and flourish, growing into an undeniably competitive multi-million dollar force in the market.

PROFESSIONAL LICENSE --- Protected the professional reputation of a fellow member of the State Bar of Georgia from being tarnished as the result of allegations filed by his former client asserting violations of governing Ethics and Rules of Conduct. The Complaint was ultimately dismissed.

MORTGAGE FRAUD VICTIM – Doctor/Client Medical Practice restored to financial health after having fallen victim to a mortgage fraud scheme.
